In October 2010, Akshay dixit created a speciality group named "ASET GEEKS".The group was one of the first few facebook speciality groups dealing with technology and related content.
The groups description went as follows::

On December, 3 the same year Akshay also created a group called My Music Hub (mmh) :D , a one of its kind group for music only.This was the first time the word "Hub" was used.The concept of dedicated groups was well received and people started adding their friends and the music the like , sharing over 3,000 unique youtube music videos and adding over 1,000 members within the first week.
While these groups were overflowing with activity , a parallel development was taking place.The movement was led by Pawan Kumr , with a more advanced vision in speciality platforms.
Pawan had created two groups Gamers Of Delhi (GOD) and art hub.Both the groups had world class members with exceptional talents, what they got from here was a platform to showcase their talents, resolve their queries, make like minded friend and at the end of the day feel motivated towards the work they were doing or talent they were pursuing.
Then came the idea of unification. What this meant was clubbing up the groups into a network of speciality groups.The Hub Network (thn) was born.
